I saw this and as my son loves Machine Guns and the Military(as many kids do)and as I didnt want to spend mega bucks on a Battery powered one thats more than 10 times the cost, I decided to give it a shot as a Christmas gift.
My son absolutely loves it and it is fairly sturdy save a few items Ill mention below, his friends now all want one as well.It has decent range and you cannot beat the price, its better quality than the majority of toy guns sold anymore and you can plink safely w/ it inside your house or in your yard or even have airsoft wars with willing friends.It even comes w/ a small supply of BBs and most importantly safety glasses, all included as well as a sling in the price. It was packaged well and was easy to get ready to play, shipping was fast and I will shop here again anytime and likely soon.
The only cons are the magazine is a bit flimsy, I dropped my sons magazine and it flew apart but I got it all back together w/ minor effort, totally my fault but could use some ruggedizing IMO though I feel it was the screws being sporta loose that was the pregenitor of the problem, also I wouldnt recommend the sling mount on the gun, it just looks like a bad assembly but as light as the toy is its really a non issue as a sling isnt needed in the least.
Overall I can recommend this w/o reservation as the few issues above were failry minor and its just a really unique and cool toy that kids and adults can enjoy, I am fairly picky and cant keep my hand off this and Im a grown man.

I, literally, just recieved the M249 in the mail, and i was shocked. This gun has a really realistic weight and feel to it. It has a great range and incredible power and accuracy. The only drawback to this gun would be the bipod mount. The legs are made of a very flimsy plastic and are very unstable. Other than that small issue, this gun is absolutely worth the money.
